So much to catch up on...

Wow, where has the time gone? A whole month gone by and no posts!! Well I've still been knitting, and I've also still been doing the "One Christmas present a month" program. This first picture is the "Spirogyra" fingerless mitts from Knitty.com. I used some Koolaid hand-dyed Knit Picks DK wool yarn.

This is a picture of the "Flame Wave" Socks from Favorite Socks. I used Cascade Fixation and they are for my youngest daughter.

This is a cardigan I knit for Vermont Organic Fiber Company using Balance. It is an organic 50/50 wool cotton and so nice to use. I love this pattern, but unfortunately had to make two of them and send them off to the company for models. I don't get to wear one myself. You can get the pattern from their website.

This is the Jacques Cousteau Hat, a free pattern I got off the 'net. My husband loves it.

These gloves were made using leftover yarn from the Cables & Spice vest. It is from Classic Knits and they are made using two needles, and seamed at the sides. These will be a gift.

Here we have half of the "Lacy Skirt with Bows" from Knit Cafe. I am using the Twisted Sisters Daktari cotton yarn. I haven't done the other side yet because I'm pretty sure I won't be able to fit into it. Therefore I am on a running program to make myself fit...

This is another one of those Gingham Cosmetics bag I made last year for Christmas. This will also be a gift. It is from Holiday Knits. I love that book!

This is a Fair Isle Bag from a pattern that was given to me a long time ago. I used leftover Merino Style dk yarn from Knit picks. My daughter confiscated this bag from me, so I can't give it as a gift for Christmas.

And last, we have the "Retro Redux Shrug" from Lace Style. I used Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece. This thing grows when I wear it, but shrinks back up after a washing. This yarn is wonderful because you can throw it in the washer and dryer. Easy to knit pattern.
